MONTCEAU LES-MINES – COMPETITION
Application for an international competition in Montceau les-mines, France. The aim of the project was to re-use an old coal factory site for urban living and recreating public landscapes. Our Funktionsraum studio developed this application idea endorsed by Graftlab, an architecture office based in Los Angeles, Berlin and Beijing. We represented the two main existing materials in our application packaging, rusted steel and coal.
